Q. Why are Australian parti sapphires so popular right now?

Australian parti sapphires have surged in popularity because they offer something no other gemstone can: naturally occurring multi‑colour beauty in a single stone. Their blends of blues, greens, yellows, and teals make every gem completely one‑of‑a‑kind, with no two ever the same.

Q. Do you supply a certificate of authenticity?

Yes. Every purchase includes a certificate of authenticity.

Q. What is the custom jewellery process?

Our custom jewellery process is friendly, laid‑back, and designed to make creating your piece enjoyable. Using modern technology, our precision‑cut gemstones, and local artisan skills, we bring your vision to life. Here’s how it works:

  • Choose your sapphire

  • Choose your design

  • Approve the CAD design

  • Pay the deposit for sapphire/diamonds

  • We begin the making process

  • Make time is approximately 2 weeks

  • Remaining balance is paid once the jewellery is finished

Q. Do I have to pay for postage?

No. We cover postage with registered Australia Post Express for all customers worldwide.

Q. Can you source any shape or size diamonds?

Yes. We can source a wide variety of diamonds — matched pairs, melee, clusters, feature stones, and specialty cuts — in different shapes, colours and sizes to suit your custom jewellery design.

Q. Can you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to the majority of countries worldwide.

Q. Can I see more videos or photos in different lighting?

Absolutely. I’m happy to provide additional photos or videos of any sapphire you’re interested in. Just get in touch.

Q. What is the best lighting to view a sapphire?

Sapphires can be sensitive to lighting, meaning their colour may shift slightly depending on the environment. Cloudy weather often shows more colour, while direct sunlight can mute certain tones. Most sapphires prefer shade — early morning and late afternoon are ideal times to view their true colours. Which makes them tricky to sell!

Q. Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer PayPal Pay in 4. Contact us and we’ll send you a secure PayPal link.

Q. Are your sapphires mined sustainably?

Yes. All our sapphires are hand‑mined sustainably on the Central Highlands Gemfields, Australia. We use simple, low‑impact tools such as a jackhammer, shovel, wheelbarrow, and buckets. The dirt is processed using an electrical trommel and pulsator.

Q. Are sapphires durable enough for engagement rings?

Yes! Sapphires are the second hardest natural gemstone after diamonds, making them perfect for everyday wear.

Q. Can I buy just the loose sapphire?

Yes, you can purchase any loose sapphire without commissioning a jewellery piece.

Q. Do Australian sapphires hold their value?

Yes. Australian sapphires are rare natural gemstones and hold exceptional long‑term value.

Q. Do you offer trade prices?

Yes, we do offer trade pricing. Please contact us for trade information.

Q. Are the sapphires faceted locally?

Yes. The majority of our sapphires are faceted by us, and we also work with trusted local Australian gem cutters.

Q. What is your return or exchange policy?

We offer a 3‑day return policy for loose stones only. Jewellery pieces cannot be returned or exchanged.

Q. Do you heat treat your sapphires?

Occasionally, we use standard heat treatment when necessary. This process does not change the chemical elements of the sapphire. Contact us if you’d like more information.

Q. What are zircons?

Zircons are natural gemstones often found alongside sapphires. They have a hardness of 7.5 and come in beautiful colours such as white, red, beige, orange, and brown.

Q. I can’t find a sapphire suited for my design — can you facet one for me?

Yes, we can custom‑cut a gemstone for you if we have suitable rough available. Please note we don't offer a cutting service to the public, meaning we will not facet your rough stones.

Q. Can you source diamonds for my custom design?

Yes. We can source any diamonds your design requires — pairs, melee, clusters, feature stones, and specialty cuts. Every diamond is selected to complement your sapphire and your vision.

Q. Do you offer matched gemstone pairs or specialty cuts?

Yes. We can source matched pairs, unique cuts, and specialty shapes for earrings, clusters or statement designs.

Q. Can you help me choose the right sapphire for my design?

Absolutely. We can guide you through colour, shape, size, and design compatibility to ensure your sapphire suits your jewellery perfectly.

Q. What metals do you work with?

We work with high‑quality gold alloys including 9ct, 14ct, and 18ct in yellow, rose and white gold. We also work with platinum. Each metal is selected for durability and long‑term wear, through an Australian company specialising in sustainable metals.

Q. How long does shipping take?

Australia Post Express usually arrives within 1–3 business days within Australia and 7–14 days internationally, depending on the destination.

Q. Can I request a custom design even if I don’t know exactly what I want?

Yes. We can help you explore shapes, colours, styles, and settings until we find the perfect design for you.

Q. Are your diamonds ethically sourced?

Yes. All diamonds we source come from trusted suppliers who follow ethical and responsible sourcing practices.

Q. Can you work with my existing gemstones or jewellery?

In most cases, yes. We can assess your existing stones or jewellery and let you know if they’re suitable for redesign or remodelling. However, we don't work with your existing metal. But we can redesign using the gemstones.

Q. How do I know which sapphire shape suits my design?

We can guide you through shape, size, and proportion to ensure your sapphire fits your chosen design perfectly.
